Simone has been a tutor for nearly 30 years, teaching in colleges and for adult education in Bedfordshire, East Sussex and the New Forest.

She is a qualified adult Education tutor, chef, nutritional therapist, life coach, stress therapist and designer, with all the training being achieved over many years.

After a change in personal circumstances in 2019, she decided to move back to East Sussex from The New Forest.
The new house came with a bonus, a ready made studio/craft room, which enables her to work on new designs and prepare workshops, including paper crafts, decoupage for crafts and furniture, Christmas decorations, Making memories albums, patchwork, Victorian ribbon embroidery, Stamp, print and paint on fabric, making minIatures and making Fascinators, not all at once of course. Crafts tend to have phases so it is necessary to adapt as needed.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING has always been central to life due to a diagnosis of arthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue after a bad reaction to statins in 2000, taking time out to recover, then resetting how life can be lived with a disability. Simone builds elements of wellbeing into her workshops in Peacehaven, East Sussex to enable students to feel they can participate at their own pace. She also sells her crafts in kit form so a wider audience can enjoy them.
SPECIAL DIETARY RECIPES Cookery is also a craft and with many people needing special dietary food including herself, she has been working on new recipes which will be gradually added to this site. Being vegetarian and finding that low wheat, dairy free, sugar free, low fat is the best way to help keep pain and fatigue at bay has been a challenge but a love of good food cooked properly has helped aided by nutritional and chef training.

Workshops/classes
She offers 2 hour craft workshops which include an element of relaxation and wellbeing.
